BLUE  “A” Day


THANKSGIVING DRESS DOWN

Thanksgiving Food Drive & Dress Down on Friday, November 22nd! Bring in one non-perishable food item to dress down in your Mercy attire!!  All donations will be delivered to The INN in Hempstead! 

ATHLETICS

Good Luck to Erin Nicastro and Ashley Abraham who will be participating in the New York State Federation Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 23rd, in Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, New York.

Both Basketball teams will open their season at home on Monday, November 25th.  Varsity Basketball will be taking on Huntington High School at 4:15 while the JV will be play Huntington at 5:45.

Winter Track opens their season a week from Saturday on November 30th at the League Developmental Meet at St. Anthony’s at 9:00 AM.

THANKSGIVING GRATITUDE

Spread Gratitude: This week students and staff will have the opportunity to write anonymous ‘thank you’ notes to show appreciation to anyone and everyone at OLMA. Outside of the Campus Ministry Office, a table will be set-up with note cards; take a moment, write one (or several) out and each will be delivered with your words of gratitude before the Thanksgiving break.  #thankfulgratefulblessed 

 SPORTS NIGHT

Tryouts are on 11/26, 12/3, 12/5, 12/10 after school from 3:15-4:50 PM. Sophomores be aware if you are going to Epcot that you will not be here for the 12/5 tryout date. Please attend the other dates.

All students will report to the auditorium on November 26th at 3:05 PM for a brief meeting with Mrs. Kuhn before tryouts begin.

All students must be participating in their PE/Dance classes in order to tryout.
