Our Lady of Mercy Academy Financial Information

​​​​​​​2019-2020 Tuition & Fees

Tuition: $12,850

 One Time 2024 Registration Fee, due January 2020 : $650

Upperclasswomen Re-Registration Fee, due March 1st: $250

Annual School Fee, due June 1st: $625


Tuition and fees are set annually by the Board of Directors. Our Lady of Mercy Academy utilizes FACTS Tuition Management to bill and collect tuition.  Payment methods accepted by FACTS include check, automatic checking account debit or credit card withdrawal. Families can elect one, four, or ten installment tuition payment plan starting June 2020.


Academic Scholarships

All incoming students are considered for academic scholarships based on their performance on the Catholic School Entrance Exam. Notification of Academic Scholarships will be included with the acceptance letters. 


Financial Aid​​​​​​​

Our Lady of Mercy Academy recognizes that our families make sacrifices so they can invest in their daughter’s high school education. OLMA provides need-based financial aid assistance to qualified families. The FACTS Grant and Aid portal is currently open for the class of 2024. Financial Aid decisions will be included in the acceptance letters of qualified families.

Need-Based Financial Award Opportunities

Our Lady of Mercy Academy invites interested incoming freshwomen to apply for the following awards:

·   The Our Lady of Mercy Alumnae Association Award

·   The Mary Joe Lorello Mustang Award

·   The Joan C. Echausse ’51 Financial Assistance Award

 

A brief description of the awards is provided on the back of this document. All applications and instructions can be found at OLMA.org and are due no later than November 30, 2019.  Awarded students will be notified in her acceptance letter.

Our Lady of Mercy Academy Description of Awards Opportunities to the Class of 2024

 

 

The Our Lady of Mercy Alumnae Association Award​​​​​​​

This award is a partial need-based award, renewable each year provided the student meets the criteria. Priority will be given to a student with a Our Lady of Mercy alumna relationship.  An applicant must list Our Lady of Mercy Academy as her first-choice school on the Catholic High School Entrance Exam (CHSEE) and maintain an 85% or above grade point average during 8th grade.  The amount of award, averaging $2,000, is determined by the Alumnae Association Award Committee based upon financial need.  

 


The MaryJo Lorello Mustang Award

This award is named for a beloved OLMA teacher and coach who lost her battle with cancer on July 16, 2008. Ms. Lorello was an inspiration to many young women during her time at Mercy, and we want to make sure her legacy is carried on and continues to raise up young women.   This award is a partial need-based award in the amount of $2,500, renewable each year, provided the student remains in good standing. The applicant needs to display academic ability, participation in athletic activities and have a desire to become a contributing member of the Our Lady of Mercy Academy community.    


The Joan C. Echausse ’51 Financial Assistance Award

This award is a partial need-based award in the amount of $2,500 and renewable each year provided the student remains in good standing. To be considered, an applicant must have maintained an 85% or above grade point average in 8th grade and has demonstrated a commitment of service to others.  

 


The Freshwomen Legacy Award

This award is available to students whose mother, grandmother, or aunt graduated from OLMA. This award is a one-time award of $500 to be applied to tuition for a student’s 9th grade year.   

 


The Freshwomen Sibling Award

This award is given to all students who will have a sibling currently enrolled at OLMA for the 2020-2021 school year.  This award is a one-time award of $1,000 to be applied to for a student’s 9th grade year.
